First of all, this place was absolutely amazing. Amanda met me at the location, gave me a tour of the place, and was extremely welcoming. She had a booklet put together with all the local points of interest, history of the area and location, as well as recommendations for things to do and places to eat at. The pictures, for as beautiful as they are, do not do this place justice because the place was phenomenal. Quaint little cabin just off the road in a beautiful area, the place was spotless, beautifully put together, and felt extremely cozy from the moment I first stepped through the door. I highly recommend this place for ANYONE looking for a quiet getaway, and I’ll absolutely be choosing this place again for my next trip to Canada. Bird Haven Log Cabin was the perfect place for a girl’s getaway! It was so comfortable and cozy, super clean and organized. The beds were just dreamy to sleep in and we spent hours on the cozy couch by the stunning fireplace. Loved the binder with the history of the cabin and lots of suggestions and maps to local sites and restaurants. Amanda was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had and clearly thought of all the details like coffee filers and we were pleased to find some ice for us in the freezer for our drinks. The decor was beautiful including that amazing furry couch blanket. Thanks again for an amazing stay – we will be back for sure and plan to stay a couple nights next time! Erika – October 2023
